Human Rights and NCDs, In preparation for the UN High Level Meeting on September 19-20, 2011, the NCD Alliance has just released its Human Rights Brief. This has been prepared by its Human Rights Working Group, of which Dr. Sania Nishtar is a member. Ten key recommendations are outlined in the brief including inter alia, implementation for prevention of NCDs, the right to essential medicines and technologies and vulnerable populations.
