October 12, 2017: The inaugural Women Leaders in Global Health conference was held at Stanford University on Oct. 12. The conference was attended by over 400 women and men – representing more than 250 organizations and from 68 countries – and watched live by another 400 viewers joining in from homes and workplaces around the world. Dr. Sania Nishtar gave one of the two Vision Talks at the Conference in an interview format. She was interviewed by Susan Chira, gender editor of New York Times.
