May 2, 2025. Dr Nishtar met with Sierra Leone’s Health Minister Dr Austin Demby to congratulate the
country on its strong commitment to immunisation. She highlighted Sierra Leone as one of the first
countries to roll out preventive Ebola vaccinations nationwide, alongside successful malaria vaccination
launches, high DTP3 coverage and boosted HPV vaccine coverage.
