April 2, 2024. Dr Nishtar had the honour of meeting H.E. Madam Brigitte Touadera, the First Lady of the Central African Republic, to present a token of appreciation on behalf of Gavi. She commended Madam Touadera’s leadership in the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD) and her dedication to advancing vaccine access as a key pillar of primary healthcare.
