May 6, 2025. Dr Nishtar met with Ghana’s Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman-Manu to welcome the
country’s strong commitment to immunisation. She highlighted that Ghana has introduced 13 antigens
through routine immunisation, will introduce the HPV vaccine in September and the Hep B birth dose
afterwards, with Gavi proud to support work protecting children’s futures across the country.
