July 22, 2025. Dr Nishtar joined Prime Minister Allamaye Halina to sign a renewed Memorandum of
Understanding between Gavi, the Government of Chad, Gates Foundation, Aliko Dangote Foundation,
WHO, UNICEF and UNFPA. She highlighted the partnership’s success in raising Chad’s DTP3 vaccine
coverage from 55% in 2020 to 68% in 2024, expressing commitment to building on this progress for a
brighter future for Chad’s children.
