| | | Gateway Paper I 'Health Systems in Pakistan – a Way Forward' | The Gateway Paper entitled 'Health Systems in Pakistan – a Way Forward' was released by former Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Shaukat Aziz on January 9, 2006.
Authored by Dr. Sania Nishtar, the Gateway Paper is a document which analyzes health systems in Pakistan, articulates issues and proposes solutions or reform measures at the policy, planning and implementation levels to improve health outcomes within the country. The intent was to articulate the raison d'être for health systems reform within the country, propose a direction for reform and emphasize the need for an evidence-based approach to reform.
