Islamabad, September 4, 2025 – Heartfile organized a Tobacco Awareness Health Talk at the Islamabad Medical & Dental College (IMDC) to promote healthy lifestyles and raise awareness about the harms of tobacco use among youth. The activity was part of Heartfile’s broader effort to engage educational institutions in public health promotion.
Students and faculty actively participated in the session, which emphasized the importance of youth-led awareness and behavior change to reduce tobacco use in Pakistan. Heartfile representatives commended IMDC for its commitment to public health and for fostering socially responsible future healthcare professionals.
Following the session, Heartfile’s team met with IMDC’s senior management to discuss potential collaboration on future health promotion initiatives. Both institutions expressed a shared commitment to advancing public health and promoting a tobacco-free Pakistan.
