Fostering Pakistan's Health Policy Forum

Heartfile has established a stakeholder forum - Pakistan's Health Policy Forum (PHPF) - in the health sector. The purpose of this Forum is to provide a neutral platform for synchronizing stakeholder efforts - including those of the civil society and the people - within the health sector in Pakistan and to provide a mechanism for channeling the contributions of the civil society and all other stakeholders into the decision making process. The Forum's strategic and operational parameters are articulated in its  Statement document

The Forum actively engages in Heartfile initiatives in the area of  strengthening the evidence base for health reform and contributes to the Viewpoints that Heartfile generates in the press and the Gateway Series of Publications .  Membership of the Forum is broad-based and is by invitation. Organized on democratic principles, the Forum is free of any party, political or religious affiliations.
