Heartfile has established a stakeholder forum in the health sector called Pakistan's Health Policy Forum. The purpose of the Forum is to provide a neutral platform for synchronizing stakeholder efforts - including those of the civil society and the people - within the health sector in Pakistan and to provide a mechanism for channeling the contributions of the civil society and all other stakeholders into the decision making process. The Forum's strategic and operational parameters are articulated in its ► Statement document.

The Forum actively engages in Heartfile initiatives in the area of ► strengthening the evidence base for health reforms and contributes to the ► Viewpoints that Heartfile generates in the press and the Gateway Series of ► Publications. ► Membership of the Forum is broad based and is by invitation. Organized on democratic principles, the Forum is free from any party, political or religious affiliations.
