August 6, 2020 -Islamabad: In her capacity as a member of the Federal Task Force on Population, PM’s Special Assistant on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Sania Nishtar joined the 3rd meeting of task force under the chair of President, Dr. Arif Alvi at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad. The meeting discussed detailed targets and road map to coordinate reproductive health efforts in Pakistan. The meeting was attended by Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Pir Noor ul Haq Qadri, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Commerce, Textile, and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood, SAPM for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Dr. Faisal Sultan, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan, Caretaker Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Mir Afzal, provincial chief secretaries, Country Director Population Council Dr. Zeba Sathar, Representative UN Population Fund (UNFPA) Lina Mousa, and provincial ministers and secretaries of population welfare departments.
