Dec 10, 2020 – Islamabad: Together with senior Ehsaas officials, SAPM Dr. Sania Nishtar made an early morning visit to the payment campsite in Kahuta to meet Kafaalat beneficiaries. The visit holistically reviewed Kafaalat operations in the field so that evidence-based improvements can be made where needed. Dr. Sania also reviewed special arrangements that were made with regard to prevention against spread of the COVID-19. She was briefed on Kafaalat payments in the area by Assistant Commissioner, Kahuta and Assistant Director of Ehsaas in Kahuta. Later, Dr. Sania also visited a biometric ATM at the local branch of partnering bank, HBL to witness Kafaalat cash withdrawals.
