October 18, 2017: In light of the call in the Sustainable Development Goals for achieving Universal Health Coverage, the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine has convened a Committee on Improving Global Quality of Healthcare. The committee will be co-chaired by Don Berwick, former United States Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Dr. Sania Nishtar.
