October 15, 2024. Dr Nishtar expressed her gratitude to Erna Solberg for her advocacy of Gavi’s mission to vaccinate over half the world’s children each year. She appreciated Solberg’s continued support for Gavi’s replenishment efforts and its goal to vaccinate 500 million more children by 2030 #ForOurFuture.
April 4, 2024. Dr Nishtar had an enlightening discussion with civil society leaders in the Central African Republic on improving vaccine knowledge, acceptance, and demand. She emphasised the need for Gavi and partners to follow up on key ideas to ensure remote areas are covered, thanking Minister of Health Pierre Somse, WHO, and UNICEF for their engagement.

Nov 23, 2020 – Islamabad: In preparation for the Ehsaas Kafaalat cash transfers, Ehsaas held a virtual consultation with the field staff. The consultative meeting was chaired by SAPM Dr. Sania Nishtar. She reviewed arrangements being made nationwide for the disbursement of the next tranche of Ehsaas Kafaalat releasing this week. “It is critical to ensure all standard operating procedures are followed with regard to COVID-19 and deliver quantum change in relation to quality of cash transfers”, said Dr. Nishtar.
