Dr Nishtar announced the expansion of Gavi’s donor liquidity partnership with DFC, introducing a $1 billion facility that builds on the Rapid Financing Facility established during COVID-19. This expanded facility enables faster access to cash for pandemic response and routine immunisation, allowing Gavi to deliver vaccines more rapidly and immediately implement new donor pledges.
