August 25, 2025. Dr Nishtar co-hosted a TICAD9 event with the African Union Commission on co-creating Africa’s innovative immunisation solutions as a cornerstone of universal health coverage by 2030. She outlined how the Gavi Leap reform has transformed the organisation to put countries first, deliver on national priorities and strengthen self-reliance while working more closely with partners at the last mile of delivery.
