August 22, 2025. Dr Nishtar reconnected with Ghana’s Foreign Minister Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa at TICAD9, commending the country’s commitment to immunisation. She highlighted that through Gavi’s longstanding partnership with Ghana, the immunisation programme has consistently maintained high coverage rates with DTP1 and DTP3 coverage above 95%.
