November 3, 2020- Islamabad: In the Radio Pakistan’s Ehsaas special episode of programme ‘Rabta’ that is a daily national broadcast, Dr. Sania Nishtar apprised listeners about an ongoing Ehsaas Survey in the country. She said, “Ehsaas is conducting a door to door survey all over the country to collect data about the socioeconomic status of households. The survey is being done through a computer assisted approach.” She then explained, “An android-based tablet application designed for geotagged survey is being utilized to capture real-time household data for this purpose. Enumerators are going door to door and collecting information at the doorstep. Further, registration desks have so far been opened in every Tehsil of 57 Districts. These desks are facilitating those households to register themselves that were missed during the survey.” Listen here.
